Product Description
The newly developed portable welding robot by Longway Intelligence is "flexible and versatile", mainly suitable for lightweight mobile welding for steel structures in ship manufacturing, steel structure industry, general equipment manufacturing industry (such as shot blasting machine equipment, dust removal and environmental protection equipment), narrow semi-enclosed spaces, etc.
The advantage of this welding robot is that it can efficiently and flexibly solve welding production problems by moving automatically. Having the characteristics of diversified types and specifications of parts that can be processed, it is suitable for: small batches of multi-variety parts, non-standard customized parts, and parts with low dimensional accuracy. The collaborative robot adopts a drag programming mode, which greatly reduces the programming difficulty, and the technical level required by the operator, especially when the welding space is limited, the robot posture can be flexibly adjusted.
1. Applicable types of the welding seam: horizontal angled, right angled, flat and transverse, straight, circular, and wrap angled. Multi-layer and multi-pass welding can be performed when the application conditions are met.
2. Working method: The robotic arm can be placed upright, sideways, inverted, etc. at any angle. It is equipped with a magnetic base that can be adsorbed on the component or device surface. It can be manually dragged to the welding position, and the robot will automatically weld and process.
- The six-degree-of-freedom robot is portable and mobile, with comprehensive equipment functions, simple programming and operation, digital management of the welding process, stable and reliable welding quality. Ordinary operators can be put into operation with simple training, and one person can operate multiple robots at the same time.
- The operation is simple and labor saving. Computers, tablets or mobile phones can be connected to the APP system. Friendly human-computer interaction interface, drag-free programming, full touch operation.
- Automatic management of welding process: Through human-computer interaction and system establishment, the welding process database is optimized, and cloud support is used to automatically generate welding process parameters, which greatly reduces the technical and skill requirements for operators , and can partially replace some skilled welders.
The smart welding robot mainly consists of: wire feeder, electric control box, transport trolley, water-cooled welding machine, and robot unit.
The robot unit includes: mechanical arm, welding gun, adsorption device, etc. The adsorption device is a permanent magnetic base, which has a simple structure and is easy to operate when placed upright. The adsorption area required for structural parts is small. It can be placed vertically, sideways, or inverted at any angle.

Operation interface
1. Move the portable welding transport trolley near the work area.
2. Manually lift the welding robot arm unit and send it to the work area. After placing it stably, turn on the adsorption switch to fix the robot arm unit.
3. According to the workpiece welding requirements, the robot is dragged and programmed to operate and calibrate the points on the flat plate.
4. After completing the programming, verify the operation of the robot action program.
5. After the program is verified to be running normally, start the welding machine and perform welding work on the workpiece.
6. After the workpiece is welded, repeat the above steps for the next workpiece welding operation.
