DT4A/E/C Electrical Pure Iron (Electromagnetic Pure Iron)
The main grades of DT4 pure iron include: DT4, DT4A, DT4E, and DT4C. It has excellent electromagnetic properties, such as low coercive force (Hc), high permeability (μ), high saturation magnetic induction (Bs), stable magnetism, and no magnetic aging. According to the level of magnetic properties, DT4 pure iron is classified as advanced (A), super (E), and ultra (C). For higher magnetic requirements, higher-grade materials (E and C grades) should be ordered.
The electromagnetic properties of electrical pure iron, electromagnetic pure iron, and DT4 pure iron are measured under magnetic annealing conditions of the sample. However, the delivery is in the form of hot-rolled, hot-forged, or softening annealed state (cold-rolled and cold-drawn materials). Therefore, after users manufacture parts, annealing is necessary to fully exert the potential magnetism of the material.
The magnetic annealing process of DT4 pure iron: If the carbon content of the finished product is ≤ 0.007%, a simplified process of 850°C for 3 hours can be adopted. When the carbon content is > 0.007%, the process stipulated in the national standard (GB) must be followed.
Usually, DT4 pure iron for electrical and electromagnetic purposes is mainly used in electromagnetic cores, instruments and meters, electromagnetic components, electromagnetic clutches, electromagnetic locks, magnetic separators, and a series of electromagnetic products.
