Ferrosilicon alloy with very low carbon content. In the deformed and annealed steel plate, the grains show irregular orientation distribution.
The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5% - 3.0%, or the sum of silicon and aluminum content is 1.8% - 4.0%.
The products are usually cold-rolled sheet or strip with nominal thickness of 0.35 and 0.5mm, which are mainly used to manufacture motors and generators.
Cold rolled oriented silicon steel strip is mainly used for transformer manufacturing, so it is also called cold-rolled transformer silicon steel.
Silicon steel, commonly known as silicon steel sheet or silicon steel sheet, is an indispensable silicon iron soft magnetic alloy with extremely low carbon content in power, electronics and military industries. It is also the largest metal functional material in output.
Its output accounts for about 1% of the world's steel output.
