How to choose raw materials for Stainless steel heat exchanger tubes/pipes?
(1) 304L ultra-low carbon stainless steel production of stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, can effectively reduce intergranular corrosion; but 304L and other low carbon content of stainless steel, its resistance to intergranular corrosion is high, but it will sacrifice its strength indicators (304L than 304 about 15% lower). In order to ensure safe use, the design thickness needs tobe increased accordingly.
(2) Duplex stainless steel corrosion resistance is better than austenitic stainless steel, but the cost is higher than austenitic stainless steel. 2205 and other duplex stainless steel materials for the production of stainless steel heat exchanger tubes, can improve its resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion resistance.
(3) Single-phase 321 stainless steel tube needs to be used in temperatures below 700 degrees.
(4)310S stainless steel is a kind of austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
Because of the relatively high content of chromium and nickel, it has good high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance and other properties.
