ZAM Coating
The zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating has excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and processability through the action of aluminum and magnesium, and can be widely used in various fields.
The zinc-aluminum-magnesium-coated steel sheet allows customers who use GI products to directly replace the zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steel sheet without changing the existing processes such as processing, assembly, and painting.
ZAM steel has been used in automotive panels, automotive interior panels and automotive structural steels in both Europe and North America.
ZAM steel can also be used in fields such as photothermal power generation and animal husbandry.
Cutting edge corrosion resistance of Zn-Mg-Al coating is better than that of GI.
After SST or CCT, a dense colloidal corrosion product was covered at the edge of Zn-Mg-Al alloy coating. The main component was Zn5(OH)8Cl2·H2O. The corrosion product was proved to be very stable and not easy to decompose.
