Aluminum zinc alloy coated steel is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon .For Mesco Steel we only offer clients the high quality product which is 55% aluminium composed.The corrosion resistance of aluminized zinc steel coil is mainly due to the protective function of aluminum. When the zinc is worn, the aluminum forms a dense layer of alumina that prevents the corrosion resistant material from further eroding the interior. It's 3 times of pure galvanized steel and the thermal reflection is 2 times of pure galvanized steel,also work very well when temperature reach 300 degree centigrade.
There are beautiful spangles on the surface, which can be used as building exterior panels.
Corrosion resistance:
The corrosion resistance of "galvalume steel coil" is mainly due to the protective function of aluminum. When the zinc is worn away, the aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide, which prevents the corrosion-resistant substances from further corroding the interior.
Heat resistance:
It can withstand high temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius, which is similar to the high-temperature oxidation resistance of aluminum-plated steel sheets. It is often used in chimney pipes, ovens, illuminators and fluorescent lampshades.
Heat reflectivity:
The heat reflectance of galvanized steel coil is very high, which is twice that of galvanized steel sheet, and people often use it as a heat insulation material.
Economy:
Because the density of 55% AL-Zn is smaller than that of Zn, under the condition of the same weight and the same thickness of the gold-plated layer, the area of the galvanized steel coil is more than 3% larger than that of the coated steel coil.
