(1) Good high-temperature resistance
At a temperature of 450 ºC, extremely high reflectivity can be guaranteed, and there is almost no change after long-term use below 550 ºC. Aluminum silicon coated steel plates will maintain a bright appearance.
(2) Excellent corrosion resistance
Due to the dense Al2O3 oxide film formed by the oxidation of the aluminum surface, it isolates the steel substrate from the oxidation medium, preventing further corrosion of the coating even under harsh environmental conditions. Therefore, its corrosion resistance is strong, and it also has good corrosion resistance to seawater, etc. Aluminized silicon products have much greater corrosion resistance than galvanized products. Aluminized silicon products have 3-5 times the corrosion resistance compared to galvanized products.
(3) Low friction coefficient
The dynamic friction coefficient of aluminized silicon products is smaller than that of galvanized products, and a low friction coefficient is conducive to stamping deformation.
(4) Excellent thermal reflectivity
Aluminized silicon has excellent thermal reflectance, with a light reflectance of about 80% at temperatures below 500 ºC and a reflectance of 95% under infrared radiation. Therefore, aluminized silicon products can be used as efficient insulation barriers or heat reflectors in high-temperature applications, rapidly increasing the temperature inside the furnace through effective thermal reflectance.
(5) Good weldability
The coating of aluminized silicon steel plate has a higher melting point than galvanized steel plate, which is not easy to flow and has a smaller melting area. Therefore, there is no need to use the same amount of current as welding galvanized steel plate. At the same time, the harmful smoke generated during the welding process is minimal, effectively protecting the environment.
