Aluminized Silicon Alloy Coated Steel Coil

Aluminium-silicon coated products have good heat resistance,oxidation resistance,excellent corrosion resistance and heat reflectivity.They are mainly used for household appliances and automotive products which strictly require high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

One of the main purposes of aluminium-silicon coated steel is to replace galvanized products, so aluminium silicon coated products have thesame mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy and plate shape control with galvanized products.

 

Because the density of aluminium-silicon is lower than that of zinc, the coating weight can be less by using aluminium-silicon coated products instead of glavanized products.

 

 

Aluminium-silicon coated products have excellent corrosion resistance, several or even a dozen times than that of galvanized products.

 

Aluminium-silicon products have good high temperature resistance, there almost isn't any change even during long-term use below 550 ºC.The steel plate with aluminium-silicon coating will maintain the bright appearance.Aluminized Silicon products have excellent high temperature resistance. It remains high reflectivity at the temperature of 450ºC,it hardly changes even exposed in 550ºC situation for a long time. The aluminized silicon coated steel plate still maintain a bright appearance. Its heat resistance is equivalent to stainless steel 409. The galvanized products will be faded and chalked at 300 ºC.

 

Aluminium-silicon has excellent heat reflectivity, with a light reflectance of about 80% when the temperature below 500 ºC.

 

The friction coefficient of aluminium-silicon coated products is lower, and low friction coefficient is favorable for drawing and forming.

 

Aluminized Silicon Steel is a kind of steel which is based on cold-rolled steel. After continuous hot-dip processing,its surface is coated with aluminum silicon alloy. Aluminized Silicon steel plate is as easy to weld as the traditional galvanized steel plate.
