Product Overview
Copper mould tube is the core component of a continuous casting machine, known as the "heart" of the CCM. It undertakes the crucial task of directly casting molten steel into shape-the molten steel solidifies immediately after passing through the copper tube, forming steel billets of specific dimensions. The quality of the copper mould tube directly determines the output, quality and casting efficiency of the billet.
Our products are applicable to the production of square, round and rectangular billet sections, covering cross-section sizes from 60mm×60mm to 700mm×700mm. Manufactured in strict compliance with YB/T 4141 standard, our technical specifications have reached internationally advanced levels.

Product Highlights
1.Made of high-quality copper alloys including TP2 (phosphorus deoxidized copper), CuAg0.1 (silver-bearing copper) ,
offering excellent thermal conductivity, thermal fatigue resistance and high-temperature strength. Cu-Cr-Zr features a recrystallization temperature up to 690ºC with outstanding anti-heat deformation capability, delivering excellent mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures.
2.The inner cavity features multi-taper or parabolic design with greater taper at the upper section, perfectly matching the solidification shell shrinkage pattern. Effectively minimizes air gap thermal resistance between the tube inner wall and the shell, ensuring uniform heat transfer and significantly improving billet surface quality and internal density
3.Offers multiple coating options including hard chrome plating, Ni-Cr coating, Ni-Fe coating and Ni-Co composite coating. The Ni-Co alloy + hard chrome composite coating achieves hardness of 300-600HV, effectively blocking the diffusion of harmful elements. For 150mm×150mm billet sections, throughput can reach 9,000-12,000 tons, 1.5-2.5 times higher than traditional hard chrome plated tubes.
4.As the "heart" of the continuous casting machine, the mould tube requires extremely high thermal conductivity and strength. With thermal conductivity up to 330-372 W/(m·k), molten steel solidifies and takes shape immediately after passing through the copper tube. Excellent anti-fatigue and anti-heat stress properties ensure stable operation under high casting speeds and elevated temperatures.
5.Covers a wide range of billet specifications including square, round and rectangular sections. Length 602-1100mm, radius 3000-17000mm, wall thickness 6-50mm. Customizable according to customer drawings to meet the specific requirements of various continuous casting machines.

Widely used in billet continuous casting machines, round billet casters and rectangular billet casters in various steel plants. Suitable for continuous casting of plain carbon steel, low-alloy steel and various other steel grades. Strand count: 1~6; arc radius: 3.5m~14m.
